Teeth Whitening & Porcelain Veneers

Teeth naturally change color over time as the inner part of the tooth called dentin darkens as we grow older. Teeth can also change color by other factors such as the food and beverages consumed (like coffee, tea and soda), childhood medications, childhood illnesses, tobacco use or improper oral hygiene. Dr. Austin has been restoring teeth to their natural white smile for more than thirty years usingProfessional Teeth Whitening Eastside a variety of techniques. Dr. Austin prefers using a tray whitening system and gel created by KoR. He has found this to be the most gentle, effective, most cost effective method available.

CEREC Crowns, Porcelain Crowns

Dr. Austin has been using CEREC technology for almost ten years now and has taken many advanced CEREC training classes. Because of his experience level, Sirona Dental, the developers of the CEREC technology have asked Dr. Austin to demonstrate the CEREC technology to new potential users. CEREC by Sirona Dental Systems is the world's first system for the fabrication of all ceramic dental restorations in one office visit. With CEREC technology and Dr. Austin, you can be in and out in a single visit with a permanent, all ceramic crown, onlay, or veneer! For you, the patient, this means fewer injections, less chair time, and less time out of your hectic schedule for dental care.

Most dental restorative methods require more than one visit to the dentist. This means that on the first visit, you get an injection of anesthesia, your tooth prepared, an impression taken, and a temporary restoration put on your tooth. You make a second appointment for a couple of weeks later, get another injection, have the temporary removed (if it hasn't fallen off already), and have a permanent restoration put on. With a CEREC restoration these two visits are completed in a single appointment.

Invisalign Dentistry & Traditional Braces

Invisalign Teen in Issaquah
Since 1997, Invisalign has become the invisible way to straighten teeth without braces. Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable aligners to gradually straighten teeth, without metal or wires. Aligners are made of strong medical grade plastic that is virtually invisible when worn.

While Invisalign can be used with virtually any treatment philosophy, specific training is needed. Dr. Austin has been using this technology since 2003. He receives extensive advanced training on a yearly basis to continue to advance and hone his Invisalign skill. Because of his experience and training with Invisalign, Align Technologies has recently acknowledged Dr. Austin’s skill with the designation of Premier Provider.
