Dental Implants – For One Tooth or Multiple Teeth Bellevue

Dental imDental Implants WAplants are a wonderful way to replace a single missing tooth or multiple missing teeth. The procedure begins by having a titanium implant placed into your jaw bone where your old tooth root once was. Over the next six month period your jaw bone will integrate in and around your implant, attaching it firmly to the bone. Once this healing phase is complete the implant is ready for Dr. Austin to restore the implant with a very natural looking tooth. See our work.
Dr. Austin has over twenty years of experience placing implants.  He has completed single tooth implants, multiple tooth implants, cantilever implants and denture retained implants.  Dr. Austin works with a team of Oral Surgeons planning and designing the placement of the titanium implant in the bone.  Once the bone has integrated around the implant Dr. Austin moves forward creating the natural looking finished restoration.

Composite Bonding Bellevue, WA

Composite bonding is a very inexpensive procedure that can make huge changes in your smile in as little as one appointment. Dr. Austin bonds the composite material onto your teeth to make the changes necessary to enhance your smile.

The composite material itself is made up of very small pieces of glass in a resin matrix. It comes in many different shades to allow Dr. Austin to create a beautiful natural looking smile. Composite bonding can last for years and is a wonderful, less expensive alternative to the very popular porcelain veneer.

These two front teeth were involved in a traumatic accident fracturing off much of the existing tooth structure. Dr. Austin restored these teeth in one appointment using a variety of shades of composite, placed in multiple layers to create natural looking teeth.

Teeth Whitening & Porcelain Veneers

Teeth naturally change color over time as the inner part of the tooth called dentin darkens as we grow older. Teeth can also change color by other factors such as the food and beverages consumed (like coffee, tea and soda), childhood medications, childhood illnesses, tobacco use or improper oral hygiene. Dr. Austin has been restoring teeth to their natural white smile for more than thirty years usingProfessional Teeth Whitening Eastside a variety of techniques. Dr. Austin prefers using a tray whitening system and gel created by KoR. He has found this to be the most gentle, effective, most cost effective method available.

CEREC Crowns, Porcelain Crowns

Dr. Austin has been using CEREC technology for almost ten years now and has taken many advanced CEREC training classes. Because of his experience level, Sirona Dental, the developers of the CEREC technology have asked Dr. Austin to demonstrate the CEREC technology to new potential users. CEREC by Sirona Dental Systems is the world's first system for the fabrication of all ceramic dental restorations in one office visit. With CEREC technology and Dr. Austin, you can be in and out in a single visit with a permanent, all ceramic crown, onlay, or veneer! For you, the patient, this means fewer injections, less chair time, and less time out of your hectic schedule for dental care.
 Cerec Crown Issaquah
Most dental restorative methods require more than one visit to the dentist. This means that on the first visit, you get an injection of anesthesia, your tooth prepared, an impression taken, and a temporary restoration put on your tooth. You make a second appointment for a couple of weeks later, get another injection, have the temporary removed (if it hasn't fallen off already), and have a permanent restoration put on. With a CEREC restoration these two visits are completed in a single appointment.

Invisalign Dentistry & Traditional Braces

Invisalign Teen in Issaquah
Since 1997, Invisalign has become the invisible way to straighten teeth without braces. Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable aligners to gradually straighten teeth, without metal or wires. Aligners are made of strong medical grade plastic that is virtually invisible when worn.

While Invisalign can be used with virtually any treatment philosophy, specific training is needed. Dr. Austin has been using this technology since 2003. He receives extensive advanced training on a yearly basis to continue to advance and hone his Invisalign skill. Because of his experience and training with Invisalign, Align Technologies has recently acknowledged Dr. Austin’s skill with the designation of Premier Provider.
